Clemson College Republicans

During my first two years at Clemson University, from 2022-2023, I was an avid member of the Clemson College Republicans. I chose to become involved mainly for the social aspects, as at the time many of my friends were part of the club, but over the course of those two years I learned a lot about myself. Furthermore, many of my fondest memories of my time at Clemson come from the various meetings, bonfires, and socials in CCR.

Caritas

During the Spring of 2024, in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, I volunteered with an organization called Caritas. Caritas is a charity with many social programs for immigrants and the elderly (for example). My particular work was at an after-school program helping children with their English homework. Over the course of the semester, I learned a lot about other cultures, as many of the other volunteers and some of the children were from all around the world. Some of my best memories from my semester abroad come from conversations about pop culture and simply getting to practice my language skills with the children and volunteers.
